A message from our founder
Courageous Survivors was created in 2020 out of a passion to support survivors in healing from sexual trauma. My own history of sexual abuse and rape that began as a young child caused me to feel alone and hopeless. After disclosing the abuse in my early 30s, I searched for healing in many different ways. Despite suicide attempts and many other ways that I attempted to disconnect from life, trauma treatment, therapy, and building a support system around me have helped me to feel the peace and happiness that I longed for. I want all survivors to feel comfort in knowing that they are not alone.
I am also passionate about prevention and am a trained facilitator of Darkness to Light’s child sexual abuse prevention training. There are many crippling effects of sexual abuse, and this journey isn’t for the faint of heart, but how wonderful it is that we can take our power and lives back from our abusers.
It is one of my greatest wishes that through sharing my experience, survivors will find hope and feel how worthy they are and have always been.

This website is secured (https) to ensure that all information that is provided is encrypted and cannot be identified by any other third party. When email addresses are captured, they are stored securely and are used for marketing communications, order communications, user content uploading (such as artwork and writing). Courageous Survivors does not share email addresses with any other party (except as listed under Website below).
